Your farm is the work of a lifetime. Protect it by doing business with a cooperative member insurer who truly understands your needs. Your representative will help you create a personalized insurance plan.
Personalized guarantees
We need to offer you various options allowing you to establish a plan adapted to your situation, without superfluous guarantees. We offer the following options in particular:
Comprehensive water endorsement
New value
Sewer backup
Deprivation of use of agricultural machinery
Power interruptions
Operating losses
Fire service charges
Employer liability and voluntary compensation for agricultural employees (in certain provinces only)
Agricultural accidents
Farm inspections
We need to take the time to get to know you and your operation and to understand your specific insurance needs.
Your representative will visit your farm to inspect it and review your current insurance to ensure you have a policy that meets all your needs. We know that the insurance needs of a large commercial farm are very different from those of a hobby farm and that a poultry or dairy farm will not need the same coverage as a hog or dairy farm. a market gardener.
Our representatives know exactly what needs to be done: they will do a complete assessment of your property so that you receive a personalized insurance quote. They will also provide safety tips and suggestions to help protect you and your operation.
Proud Sponsor of 4-H
Since 1913, 4-H has promoted fundamental values to young Canadians, such as citizenship, leadership, cooperation, responsibility, and independence. 4 - H is an international organization that helps young people in rural areas grow and develop by offering its services for the benefit of the community and preparing them for adult life.
4-H clubs help young people “learn by doing” in a safe, inclusive, and fun environment. 4-H members learn new skills, whether it's learning to do crafts, building websites, public speaking, building small engines, or raising animals. 4H Canada's mandate is to encourage young people to become responsible, engaged, and confident leaders who are determined to have a positive impact on communities in Canada and around the world.
Annual Nation Volunteer Leader Award
To recognize 4-H leaders who help improve their communities, The Co-operators awards a certificate and $100 cash prize to ten provincial winners. Among these winners, a national winner is selected through a random draw. The latter receives a grand cash prize of $1,100 as well as the chance to participate in the National 4-H Conference.
